Block Machine
The REKERS universal concrete product machine is the right choice for the economic mass production of a wide range of concrete such as blocks, pavers, kerbs, wall units, etc.
Because our advanced technical solutions set the standard for improving product quality.
We manufacture a range of block machines for various board sizes and types as well as product heights and types and they can be fully integrated into the Rekers handling systems.
REKERS block machine features:
The feedbox is hydraulically operated with servo technology and this ensures a fast and uniform filling of the mould. Excellent access allows easy cleaning. The feedbox section can be height adjusted by means of electric spindle drives.
The basemix feedbox is fitted with a hydraulically ope-rated rake to assist mould filling. The rake operates in the travel or cross direction and can be easily removed for cleaning.
The front and back of the feedbox has a movable scraper. The back scraper is hydraulically operated and connected to the front scraper by means of link arms. This ensures that the spillage is reduced to a minimum.
The mould and tamper carriages have torsion bar levelers and are hydraulically operated with servo technology for fast movements and exact positioning. Positioning is by means of an inductive encoder, no moving parts, no wear.
The patented Rekers variable force and variable frequency vibrator guarantees a fast and optimum compaction for all product types.
The pneumatically operated mould suspension and tamper clamping system enables fast mould change times to be achieved. The heavy-duty height adjustable static bars and the vibration table board bars are fitted with wear strips that can be easily replaced.
We can offer our quick-change mould device for a fast and safe mould change. This allows the mould and tamper to be inserted directly into the heart of the block machine.
Most existing block machines can be fitted with the Rekers quick-change mould device.
The mould change device consists of an articulated double arm with a rotating plate mounted on the end which supports the mould and tamper.
At the start of a mould change the plate is swung under the raised mould. The positioning of the mould and tamper carriages is automatically controlled from the control panel mounted directly on the arm. The mould and tamper are then swung out of and next to the block machine. This allows them to be easily removed by a fork lift truck or by means of the stack car with the optional mould managementsystem. The plate is hinged on the arm which allows it to be stowed vertically along the side of the machine behind the guarding after use.
All the movements of the block machine are controlled by a Rekers micro-computer system. An integrated PC manages all the machine and control parameters. The software features real-time process visualization, automatic mould management and production data collection.
