Control Systems
REKERS control systems for batching and mixing plants are job-proven in more than 100 plants, world-wide. This is the result of the intuitive operator interface, the sophisticated high-level programming, the self-learning software and the practical controls. Each control system is optimised for individual client requirements and for the actual plant components.
The clearly structured human-machine interface with zoomed symbols gives the operator an optimised overview and access to the detailed operational information and parameter set-up.
All the concrete products can be listed in the database. Each product can have one or more recipes for both coarse- and facemix batches. Access for changes to these recipes is protected by a multi-level PIN management system.
Recipes can be easily built-up from the available range of ingredients - aggregates, cements, additives and pigments. A plausibility check is made to ensure that the individual ingredient weights / volumes are within the user-set allowable limits.
The control system automatically selects the required dosing gate / feeder for the selected ingredient based on ingredient / container listing. A change in this listing does not require the user to change the existing recipes.
This window allows direct access to ingredient details such as type, amount, supplier, driver,
date, time, etc. The complete ingredient database can be sorted by type, supplier, terms and
conditions, etc.
All the batches are recorded in the batch protocol with actual ingredient quantities,
tolerance, date, time, product number and mixer data. This batch protocol is the basis
for the usage protocol.
Detailed information about a selected time period or product can be obtained from the usage protocol. This together with the batch protocol allows the user to show total usage, etc. in tabular form. This listings can be printed or exported to another database in the users own administration system. An option to calculate ingredient costs, etc. is available.
All fault data is collected in a database together with date, start- and end time. This
data can be sorted by plant component or time period.
A water control system and colour / additive, dosing systems can be fully integrated via interface so that they can be included in the batching plant visualisation and data base systems.
The plant specific documentation not only includes the CAD wiring diagrams for the motor control centres, but also the diagrams for the plant control-and power wiring.
The motor control centres are built up with high spec components from reputable suppliers for the best possible reliability. Personnel and plant safety during maintenance and repair work is ensured by the area main contactors with low voltage protection which incorporates a lock-out / tag-out system where necessary. This safety system has an emergency stop reset function and is combined with a local area control panel for manual operation.
