Rekers (North America) Inc. opens its first service-Center in
Elmsford, New York.

Rekers takes over production of block machines from NEWA-Techniek, NL.

1988

First sales of a concrete product plant to North America.

1985

Rekers opens its first Service-Center in Tamworth, Great Britain.

1983

Rekers provides the first fully automated handling plant for fresh concrete pipes world-wide.

1982

Rekers starts to engineer complete concrete product plants and begins a successful sales joint-venture with NEWA.

1981

The design department receives its first CAD-system.

1976

Rekers develops the first microcomputer-control for a fully automated finger car.

1975

The company's first microcomputer-system based on Intel's 8-bit-technology is applied successfully at aconcrete product factory.

1974

For the first time a mixing plant and an overhead skip are being controlled by means of a computer. In the same year the facility is enlarged to 15.000 m² (160.000 sft).

1969

To allow future expansion, the factory is relocated into a local industrial area and receives private sidings.

1967

Rekers receives the patent for the 'Unopolkanäle'. The all new electric powe supply is articularly suitable forskips that travel on curved tracks.


1966

Rekers develops the first fully automated cuber for pavers.

1961

Rekers starts to manufacture fully automated overhead skip systems for transportation of concrete.
1956

The product line of the young company includes mechanical grabs, machines for manufaturing concrete poles and overhead crane systems.

1955

Karl Rekers founds the the company. The workshop of the parental concrete factory is the nucleus for the new company. In the same year Rekers receives its first welding as per DIN 4100.
