2015

REKERS looks back over 60 successful years together with customers from all over the world.

2015

The flagship, the KRS4, can now be fitted with even more options that will ensure an even more efficient production.

2011

REKERS presents the RS1KV, the new plant for block production that has surprised by its compact and „different“ concept.

2008

Factory expansion and modernisation in Spelle:
A new CNC-plasma cutter and a new continuous flow shot-blaster has been installed.
An eco-friendly high-pressue cleaning system uses a 2K waterbased laquer and the open spray facility ensures the best quality surface treatment.

2005

REKERS introduces the patented 6-colour facemix blending system that has since its introduction been successful in demanding markets.

2005

Rekers celebrates its 50th anniversary. 50 years of reliable plant and equipment for the world-wide concrete industry.

2003

In a further expansion of the sales network representation is opened in China.

2002

With the Antiquer REKERS succeeded in ageing cured paving stones „in-line“ on the dryside conveyor of the packaging line.

2001

REKERS introdues the variable frequency / amplitude servo vibrator for the block machine.

2000

After 45 years of successful management Karl Rekers, compay founder and managing director, hands over responsibilty to the next family generation. Annette and Norbert Foppe now lead the company.

1998

REKERS (North America) Inc opens their service center in Elmsford near New York.

1993

REKERS takes over the production of the NEWA Techniek BV block machine.

1988

The first block/paver plant is delivered to North America.

1985

REKERS (UK) Ltd opens their service center in Tamworth, Great Britain.

1983

REKERS delivers the world’s first fully automatic computer controlled handling system for fresh concrete pipes.

1982

The company designs and sells block machine plants in a joint-venture with NEWA Techniek BV.

1981

The design department receives its first CAD system and drawing is now done on the computer.

1980

1975

The first mirco-computer control system based on the 8-bit 8080 micro processor from Intel is developed „in-house“ for customer use.

1974

For the first time a micro-computer is used to control a mixing plant with overhead bucket system and finger car.
The factory is enlarged to 15,000m2

1969

The first bays of the new factory with a private rail siding is built at the current location in the industrial area of Spelle.

1967

The REKERS „Unopol“ power/control track is patented. This totally new design for power tracks is especially suited for curved sections of overhead skip systems.

 

1966

REKERS develops the world’s first automatic cuber for stacking paving stones.

1961

The product range was expanded to include fully automatic overhead skip systems.

1956

The products manufactured included mechanical grabs, concrete post moulds and overhead cranes.

1955

Karl Rekers was the founder of the company. The nucleus of the company was the workshop of the parental REKERS Concrete Works in Spelle.
The first welding certificate as per DIN 4100 was received.
