A short stop over at site Basant Betons Hubli, India was a big surprise by the first concrete blocks been manufactured. Quality of first blocks from first batch of concrete have been already on a high level – much better than anybody expected or could have been expected.
But thanks to the great cooperation of the Basant Betons and Rekers installation teams, this milestone has been achieved within 3 weeks of tough erection and installation phase only.
A new experience for the assembly operators was the traditional Hindu ceremony performed by the Basant Betons production staff for the new machine and equipment. The blessings of Hindu Goddess together with German technology should protect all workers against accidents and the machinery and equipment against failures and will support smooth future plant operation. Rekers highly respects Basant Betons believe in the mixture of latest machine technology and old Indian traditions.
